Menara Kuala Lumpur will be organizing KL TOWER INTERNATIONAL NIGHT TOWERTHON CHALLENGE 2011 on Saturday, 7 May 2011 starting 8.00pm.

In conjunction with the event, the management of Menara Kuala Lumpur wishes to get participant’s cooperation to kindly use public transportations or carpool to avoid traffic congestions.

For those of you who will be driving, please be informed that parking lots are available within the vicinity of the tower as shown below:

1.            Pacific Regency Hotel / Menara PanGlobal

2.            Wisma Nusantara

3.            The Weld Shopping Mall

4.            Menara Hap Seng

Subject to the terms and conditions of the parking lot management of each building and please park at your own risks. Please be advised to avoid bringing valuable items during the competition.

The KL Tower International Night Towerthon Challenge 2011 will take place on Saturday, 7 May 2011. 

Menara Kuala Lumpur’s yearly signature event will be held for the 10^th consecutive time at night for the very first time. 

 

Win prizes worth RM 100,000.00 as a whole and a chance to challenge yourself to run 800 meters uphill before climbing 2,058 steps to reach the top level of 288 meters above ground level at Mega View (TH03).

Alhamdulillah Majlis Pelancaran Pesta Negeri Perak @ Menara Kuala Lumpur telah berjalan dengan lancar dan  sempurna dirasmikan oleh Y.A. Berbahagia Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, Isteri Y.A.B Perdana Menteri Malaysia, pada 1 Mei 2011 yang lalu.

PESTA NEGERI PERAK

Menara Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with Perak State Government will be organizing Pesta Negeri Perak at the front lawn of 1Malaysia Cultural Village on 28 April 2011 until 8 May 2011. It is open to visitors starting from 10.00am until 10.00pm.  

Pesta Negeri Perak will be organized to introduce the culture, art and traditional games as well as the local made handicrafts.  

“This is an opportunity given for the local and international visitors to learn more about our culture and traditions from the Perak state. In addition, it also promotes the heritage values and tourism sector of the state in Malaysia,” said Puan Zuraidah Mohd Said, Chief Executive Officer of Menara Kuala Lumpur. 

“Let’s support the locally made products and I wish to take this opportunity to invite all Malaysians to Menara Kuala Lumpur to hype up Pesta Negeri Perak,” she added.
